BMBC was founded by Jenny Sun, an accomplished investment professional with over 20 years of experience across Asia, the US, and Europe. As Chief Investment Officer of the BMBC Income Value Fund, Ms. Sun has led the fund to achieve a 1.92x gross multiple within its first five years. Prior to BMBC, she was a founding partner at Azentus Capital, where she helped raise US$2 billion for a multi-strategy portfolio. Her earlier career at Goldman Sachs included leading Pan Asia Trading and Macro Investment for Goldman Sachs Principal Strategy (GSPS), which managed over US$4 billion in assets.

Raymond Chan, who joined BMBC in 2023 as Chief Investment Officer of the BMBC Opportunities Fund, brings 30 years of experience in distressed and special situation investing. Before BMBC, Mr. Chan was Co-Head of Asia for Oaktree Capital’s Opportunities Fund, where he led investments in Asian real estate and non-performing loans. His prior roles include Head of Real Estate Debt Investing at The Blackstone Group in Asia and Head of Real Estate Investing in Asia at Mount Kellett Capital. He began his career in distressed real estate at Goldman Sachs’ Asian Special Situations Group (ASSG) in Hong Kong.
