Ms. Jenny Sun has over twenty years’ experience in the financial industry and invested across different instruments in Asia, the US and Europe. Ms. Sun founded Blue Mountain Bridge Capital in 2019. She is the Chief Investment Officer of BMBC Income Value Fund (“the Fund”) which was launched in August 2019. Under her leadership, the Fund achieved 1.92x gross multiple in its first five years. Before BMBC, Ms. Sun was a founding partner of Azentus Capital from 2011 to 2017. She was part of the leadership that brought 24 personnel from Goldman Sachs and raised US$2 billion at inception for a long/short equity multi-strategy portfolio. Ms. Sun’s career in the financial sector began at Goldman Sachs. From 1999 to 2011, she served as the Head of Pan Asia Trading and Macro Investment for Goldman Sachs Principal Strategy (“GSPS”). GSPS managed over US$4 billion globally. The entire GSPS Asia team eventually spun off and established Azentus Capital.
Ms. Sun received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honor) from the University of British Columbia in Canada. She attended Harvard Business School Owner President Management Program (Class 63). Ms. Sun is also a CFA charter holder.
Mr. Raymond Chan is a distinguished investment professional with three decades of distressed and special situation investing. Mr. Chan joined Blue Mountain Bridge Capital in 2023 as the CIO for the firm’s Opportunities Fund. Mr. Chan joined BMBC from Oaktree Capital, where he was the Co-Head of Asia for the firm’s Opportunities Fund, leading the firm’s investing activity across all Asian real estate-related investments and NPLs. Before his tenure at Oaktree, Mr. Chan was the Head of Real Estate Debt Investing for The Blackstone Group in Asia, focusing on opportunistic debt investing in Asia. Between 2009 and 2015, Mr. Chan was the Head of Real Estate Investing in Asia at Mount Kellett Capital, where he led distressed real estate investing across Asia replicating the Goldman Sachs’ ASSG investment model. Prior thereto, Mr. Chan worked at Goldman Sachs’ Asian Special Situations Group (ASSG) in Hong Kong for nine years, where he was responsible for all distressed real estate investing in Asia. Mr. Chan began his real estate investing career at CIBC Development Corporation in Toronto in 1994.
Mr. Chan completed an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science at The University of Western Ontario in Canada and is a CFA charter holder.
Mr. Jeremy Xu has an exceptional track record in tourism, real estate and transport infrastructure. Mr Xu is currently serving as a director and Senior Advisor of Blue Mountain Bridge Capital. Before his current role, Mr. Xu was the CEO for MTR Corporation Limited (China Business) from 2016 to 2022 where he also held the position of Executive Director for MTR China Real Estate Company. While at MTR, Mr. Xu managed a behemoth organization with 17,000 employees and RMB 30.0 billion of assets. Prior to his work at MTR, he served as the Chairman of GuoXin CTS Special Situation Fund from 2013 to 2016, where he led the asset management of all overseas tourism real estate investments, overseeing the entire life cycle of projects from acquisition to disposition. Between 1999 and 2016, Mr. Xu was the Chairman and CEO of China Travel International Investment Hong Kong. During his long-standing role at China Travel, he was responsible for the operations across multiple sectors and was instrumental in growing the company's portfolio in tourism and real estate sectors in Hong Kong, China and across the world.
Mr. Winfred Wong is a seasoned financial executive with over a decade of experience in investment management, compliance and corporate finance. He has been the Chief Financial Officer at Blue Mountain Bridge Capital since the Fund’s inception in 2019. Mr. Wong manages the financial operation of BMBC. His oversight of sponsors and target projects’ financials are crucial to the firm’s investment and asset management process. Prior to his role at BMBC, Mr. Wong served as the Financial Controller of Sheng Ye Capital from 2014 to 2019. Mr. Wong was instrumental to Sheng Ye’s IPO process in 2017 as he helped manage the company’s corporate exercises on the Hong Kong Exchange. Mr. Wong began his accounting and financial career at HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng where he was employed as a Senior Accountant from 2010 to 2013. While at HLB Hodgson, Mr. Wong led a team of auditors to audit various listed companies and help completing IPOs, demonstrating strong leadership and financial expertise.
Mr. Wong received Bleacher of Commerce - Accounting from Macquarie University in Australia. He is also a member of CPA Australia.
